Trio of Tigers sign two-year contract extensions

2021-08-20T15:08+10:00

Richmond has re-signed a trio of players as the end of their 2021 season draws closer.

Jason Castagna, Kamdyn McIntosh and Thomson Dow have all recommitted until the end of 2023.

Castagna and McIntosh have been key parts of the club’s premiership era, while Dow has impressed since being selected with the 21st pick in the 2019 National Draft.

Richmond GM Blair Hartley was happy to lock all three players in.

“Kamdyn and Jason have been outstanding contributors for us across the journey, particularly as regular members in the senior team the past five years,” he told the club's website.

“Both add specific skill sets that are important to the way we play and are excellent trainers and characters to have around the group.

“Thomson has worked hard across his first two years at the Club and has shown plenty of upside despite the interruptions he has faced. He is a player that we are really excited about.

“We are thrilled to have Jason, Kamdyn and Thomson sign on and look forward to seeing more of them across the next two years.”
