Channel 7 broadcaster Brian Taylor is “absolutely fine” after it was revealed he was airlifted to hospital on Wednesday after a gas explosion at his Gippsland property.
It was reported yesterday that the 59-year-old was being treated for minor burns to his face and upper body and was airlifted to hospital after he was working on a hot water service.
Fellow Channel 7 commentator Tim Watson provided an update on Taylor on Thursday morning.
“I haven’t spoken to BT this morning, but I was told yesterday that he is fine. Absolutely fine,” Watson told SEN Breakfast.
“In hospital just for observation overnight, but he’ll be out this morning and he’ll be working at the weekend.”
Taylor has fronted the Channel 7 commentary all year and will be a key part of their AFL finals coverage.
