Carlton president Luke Sayers has boldly declared their intent to play finals next season, just hours after parting ways with David Teague.

The club released a summary of findings from the review on Thursday morning, which eventually saw Teague depart the club after a tumultuous week as part of a raft of changes in the football department and at board level.

“Our expectation based on the list that we have, we are looking to make finals in 2022,” Sayers told reporters.

“The Carlton Football Club is pursing winning games, getting ourselves into finals and winning premierships.

"We will be uncompromising with regard to pushing and prodding all of us, including myself, the board and management to change and lift to a higher performance standard and culture.

“We’re coaching for a coach and leaders at Carlton who will leave no stoned unturned to go after absolutely everything to win games of football.”

The Blues earlier announced that assistant coach Dale Amos will leave the Blues, after fellow assistants Brent Stanton and John Barker departed earlier in the season.

Jeanne Pratt, Chris Judd, Mark LoGiudice and Christ Townshend will vacate their positions on the club’s board, with Carlton great Greg Williams to join as Football Director.
