North Melbourne has delisted four players, including two former first round draft picks in preparation for the upcoming exchange period.

Taylor Garner, Dom Tyson, Will Walker and Connor Menadue were all advised on Thursday they would not be offered contracts by the Roos for 2022.

Garner played 49 games at Ardern Street and nursed hamstring and ankle injuries for the majority of 2021, kicking seven goals from his four appearances.

Previous at Melbourne, Don Tyson played 112 games at AFL level, but just five at North Melbourne.

Walker, only managed six games at AFL level and featured twice this year, while Menadue played seven games in 2021 in his first season at North Melbourne.

North Melbourne GM of Football Brady Rawlings credited all four as “great contributors” to the footy club.

“Unfortunately for most of them, injury really stood in their way of progressing further in our program,” Rawlings said.

“We thank all the boys for their contributions to the club and wish them all the best in their next chapter.”
