Patrick Lipinski will request a trade from the Western Bulldogs to either Collingwood or Carlton later this month, according to the Herald Sun.
Lipinski, who comes out of contract at season’s end, has been on the fringes throughout 2021 and hasn’t appeared at senior level since late July.
The Bulldogs offered the 23-year-old a three-year deal to stay at Whitten Oval.
He was not named in the Dogs’ 26-man squad for Saturday night’s Semi-Final against Brisbane at the Gabba.
Lipinski has made 11 senior appearances this season with two of those as the medical sub.
The midfielder has played 56 games for the Bulldogs since joining the club at the end of 2016.
