Report: What Geelong wants for contracted youngster, ruckman attracting interest

2021-09-27T06:45+10:00

Geelong speedster Jordan Clark has been linked with a move to Fremantle after a lack of senior opportunities at the Cats.

According to The Herald Sun, Geelong wants a draft pick somewhere in between Fremantle’s first and second-round selections in return for Clark.

The Dockers currently hold picks 8 and 27 in this year’s National Draft.

The Herald Sun understands the West Australian will stay at the Cats if their demands cannot be met.

Clark has played 32 games since he was selected by Geelong with pick No.15 in the 2018 National Draft.

The 20-year-old is contracted for 2022.

Darcy Fort’s future at the Cats is also up in the air.

The contracted ruckman, who has played eight games since debuting in 2019, is reportedly attracting interest from Brisbane.
