Report: Magpies tall, ex-Blue, contracted Cat on Brisbane’s radar

2021-09-28T06:51+10:00

Brisbane is reportedly looking to bolster their tall stocks this off-season.

According to The Herald Sun, the Lions are weighing up moves for multiple back-up options including Collingwood tall Mason Cox, ex-Carlton utility Levi Casboult and Geelong ruck-forward Darcy Fort.

Cox, 30, is yet to be offered a new deal by the Magpies, while 31-year-old Casboult was delisted by the Blues in August.

Fort, 28, has one year left on his contract with the Cats.

Oscar McInerney shouldered the bulk of Brisbane’s ruck duties in 2021, while key forward Eric Hipwood will miss a portion of next season as he recovers from an ACL injury.
