Sports Entertainment Network announced today they have signed a three-year partnership with WA’s leading regional football competition, the Southwest Football League (SWFL).

In an innovative move, from next season Western Australians will be able to hear and watch the SWFL match of the round each week. The games will be heard on SENSpirit 621 and visually streamed on the SEN app.

The deal cements SENSpirit 621 as the home of sport and showcases the spirit of the community that exists in the southwest. SENSpirit 621 becomes a league sponsor under the deal and will showcase its branding at local matches.

Southwest League general manager, Simone Nani said that SWFL are thrilled to partner with SEN and grateful for the opportunity.

“The SWFL are very excited to work alongside SEN as their new media partner, SEN's commitment to community sport is a great fit for the SWFL. The platforms, exposure, and the ability to work with the local SEN team will ensure we can bring the SWFL product to everyone within our community and across Australia”.

SENSpirit 621 station manager Travis Green said the station was honoured to be the first of many moves around Australia for SEN into local sport.

"To extend that local commitment to work with the Southwest Football League in Western Australia and the local community in the Southwest is an honour.

‘The SWFL is a huge part of our community and hosts some sensational local football every weekend. And the opportunity to watch matches live to on the SEN app as well as listen on SENSpirit 621 is great for local fans.

‘We can’t wait for SENSpirit to become the league’s new media home.”

In addition to this deal, the popular SEN Spirit 621 Southwest station has a new program launching called On the Ball - Summer Edition.

Kicking off from November 5th, the show will be hosted by Alan Crane and Aaron Evans and cover all the Summer seasonal sports such as local cricket in the Southwest.
