Collingwood turns one pick into three in pick swap with Richmond

2021-10-18T12:33+11:00

Richmond and Collingwood have engaged in a swap of picks, less than a week after the conclusion of the AFL Trade Period.

While players can no longer be traded, clubs can still swap picks right up to and during the National Draft on November 24 and 25.

Collingwood traded its pick 27 to the Tigers and will receive picks 38, 40, and a future third-round selection in return.

Richmond now has five picks in the top 30, as the club looks to return to the form that brought them three premierships in four years.

It also follows a busy trade period for the Magpies, tasked with bringing in enough draft points to match a bid for father-son Nick Daicos.

They also recruited Nathan Kreuger and Patrick Lipinski to the club.
