Jarrod Brander has been delisted by the Eagles, while North Melbourne has also reportedly made cuts to their list.

Brander had been hopeful of moving to a new club during the AFL Trade Period, but couldn’t find a suitor.

The 22-year-old played 22 games for the club including 11 this year, averaging 15 disposals a game.

“Following discussions with his management the club has delisted Jarrod, who is keen to explore other opportunities,” Eagles recruiting and list manager Rohan O’Brien said in a club statement.

“We thank Jarrod for his contribution to the club over the past four years and wish him all the best for the future.”

Meanwhile, North Melbourne has delisted Shaun Atley and Trent Dumont will also leave Arden Street, according to the Herald Sun’s Marc McGowan.

Atley, 29, played 234 games for the club who drafted him with pick 17 in the 2010 National Draft.

Dumont has also spent considerable time at the club, playing 113 games over his eight seasons at the club.

The Roos had already delisted Taylor Garner, Dom Tyson, Will Walker and Connor Menadue in the immediate aftermath of their 2021 season.
