Jarrod Brander has attracted the curiosity of clubs in the countdown to next month’s rookie draft.
Brander was put up for trade by West Coast, but failed to find a new home during the exchange window and was subsequently delisted by the Eagles.
A handful of clubs have enquired about the 195cm Victorian utility, who failed to secure a spot with the Eagles after being taken with pick 13 in the 2017 national draft.
GWS is understood to be one of the clubs considering Brander, among others, after a trade period in which they missed out on Rory Lobb and Luke Breust.
The Giants are keen to secure a bargain buy, with a host of names liked to the club.
Michael Gibbons, Jay Lockhart and Ben Cavarra are also understood to be options for Leon Cameron’s squad.
