SEN has announced an all-star commentary team to cement themselves as the home of the Ashes ahead of the First Test starting at the Gabba this Wednesday December 8th.
Spearheading the broadcast is SEN’s chief sports caller Gerard Whateley, who will be joined by experienced sports commentator Anthony Hudson and award-winning cricket broadcaster Adam Collins on ball-by-ball duties.
Former Australian opener Simon Katich and Damien Fleming return to the team to share their much-loved views of the game, with Ashes-winning batsman and Victorian cricket coach Chris Rogers bringing unique and current insights to the coverage.
SEN is proud to announce that former England captain, The Times Chief Cricket Writer and revered cricket broadcaster Michael Atherton will also be part of the team, along with Australian wicket-keeping legend Ian Healy and former Australian women’s cricket captain Lisa Sthalekar. Regulars including The Australian’s Peter Lalor and former Australian all-rounder Simon O’Donnell will complement the team across the series.

The Ashes Test schedule for Australia V England will be broadcast as follows:

• Second Test at the Adelaide Oval – 16th-20th December.
• The Boxing Day Test at the MCG - 26th-30th December.
• The New Year’s Test at the SCG – 5th-9th January.
• The Fifth Test – Venue TBC – 14th-18th January.
