England has Australia 4-85 off 24 overs after an action-packed first session on Day 1 of the fifth and final Ashes Test in Hobart.
After winning the toss and electing to field first on a green pitch at Blundstone Arena, England had Australia reeling at 3-12 with David Warner (0), Usman Khawaja (6) and Steve Smith (0) all edging to the slip cordon.
Ollie Robinson picked up the prized scalps of Warner and Smith while Stuart Broad snared Khawaja, who was elevated to opening the batting following Marcus Harris’ omission.
Marnus Labuschagne and Travis Head went about rebuilding Australia’s innings in aggressive fashion, combining for a thrilling 71-run partnership.

Labuschagne was given a life on 0 when Zak Crawley dropped a catch at second slip off the bowling of Robinson, but Broad dismissed Australia’s No.3 in bizarre circumstances just before the dinner break.
Broad had Labuschagne bowled around his legs for a counter-attacking 44, giving the veteran England quick his second wicket.
Head (31) and Cameron Green (2) are Australia’s not out batsmen.

Katich: "The Australians cannot believe this! England are cock-a-hoop. It's almost reminiscent of English conditions. Green wicket, overcast. The Australian middle order is under huge pressure. Robinson is running amok!"
