Race 1 # 9 WARMTH
Always a tough race the Magic Millions Maiden however this Team Snowden trained mare looks well placed both map wise & though her lead up trials.
She’s had three of them winning twice & being beaten the other by Duchy Of Savoy who came out & won first up at Sandown by a decent margin. With gun jockey Tommy Berry on top she can kick off the day on a winning note.
Race 5 # 14 ISOTOPE
Terrific mare who returns this afternoon after suffering a colic attack.
Go back 12 months she started favourite this day in the Guineas & looked to be ‘travelling’ on the turn before clipping heels & losing jockey Ryan Maloney.
Make no mistake this is a very good race however her lead up trial & jump out suggest she’s ready fire, look for her to be steaming down the outside late in the race.
Race 9 # 4 MIAMI FLEISS
Ugly barrier on paper however she’s not the speedball she once was which will enable Steph Thornton to come out & look for cover early.
Should she have to sit three deep well so be it as I’m of the opinion she can still win from out there as long as she does have that cover.
Game in defeat last start after working in the run on a heavy (10) track which is just not her go. She’s clearly better than her opposition this afternoon.

Race 7 # 5 GOLDEN ARTIE
In no way am I knocking of taking on the favourite Coolangatta in the Magic Millions however I do think this locally trained colt is over the odds & worth an each-way ticket. Good late on debut, luckless second start before winning his latest he could be going into today’s feature unbeaten. Yes, the gate is ugly & Ben Thompson will look for cover early, should the pressure be on up front & the leaders prove vulnerable late he might be the one getting over the top of them. Definitely worth a ticket each-way.
