Ash Barty is through to the third round at the Australian Open after comfortably taking care of Italian qualifier Lucia Bronzetti.
The centre court match ended in a straight sets 6-1, 6-1, victory, with the world no.1 doing the business in less than an hour.
The writing was on the wall for Bronzetti after Barty raced out to a 5-0 lead in the first set to assert her dominance.
The Italian was able to hold serve in the first game of the second set, but Barty rolled on after that point to win the final six games and the match.

Through two matches at this year’s tournament, Barty has won 24 of 27 games - following her 6-0, 6-1, win over Lesia Tsurenko on Monday.
The Australian faces another Italian on Friday in the third round, with a match-up against seed no.30 Camila Giorgi.
The Queenslander is hoping to become the first Australian woman to win a grand slam on home soil since Chris O’Neil achieved the feat in 1978.
