Sports Entertainment Network is excited to announce SENZ's runner for the inaugural running of The Race - Harness Racing New Zealand's newest innovation.
SENZ's selection for the 2022 edition of The Race is Self Assured.
The Race, to be run at Cambridge on April 14, provides a unique opportunity for SEN and SENZ listeners to win a share in Self Assured with the potential to win big on the day.
Owned by Jean Feiss and trained by superstar trainers Mark Purdon & Hayden Cullen, Self Assured is arguably one of the most talented gallopers in harness racing and Feiss is thrilled to partner with SEN.
"It's a great concept and I'm happy to be apart of it, I'm very proud," Feiss said on SENZ.
"With SEN, I thought it was a good opportunity to promote harness racing both in Australia and in New Zealand and I thought what better horse to promote than Self Assured.
"He's a very relaxed horse, soemtimes too relaxed ha ha, he just does what he's got to do.
"He's the real deal.
"Hopefully so many people can enjoy the racing with Self Assured on the night so that's why I went that with (with SEN)."
