Jack Darling has suffered a foot injury and could be on the sidelines for up to a month, per 7 News’ Ryan Daniels.
Darling returned to training on Friday after the news was broken on Thursday night that he had met the AFL’s vaccination policy, almost two months after missing the required deadline to have had his first dose.
Despite training away from the club for that duration, it was understood Darling was in good physical condition and could have played as early as Round 1.
However, his latest setback will likely see him miss several games.

Daniels is reporting the star forward has suffered a tendon issue in his foot.
Darling’s supposed return was set to be a big boost for the club already missing a host of key players through injury, including tall forward Oscar Allen.
The Eagles have a relatively easy run to start the season, playing four clubs who missed the finals last year in Gold Coast, North Melbourne, Fremantle and Collingwood.
