Richmond co-captain Dylan Grimes has been ruled out of Sunday's clash against Greater Western Sydney.
Grimes managed to get up for Round 1 after undergoing surgery on a ligament in his left thumb which he injured in Community Series.
However, after being selected in the initial line-up, he will not be available and will be replaced in the side by young defender Ben Miller.
Grimes’ absence and experience will be missed on top of the loss of Jack Riewoldt (thumb), Dustin Martin (personal reasons) and Dion Prestia (hamstring).
