Former Brisbane and Essendon forward Damian Cupido had a day out in front of goal in a country footy game on Saturday.

The ex-Bomber and Lion has been a prolific goal kicker in local football, booting 132 majors from 28 games across two seasons for Hume League club Brock-Burrum Saints prior to joining Girgarre in September last year.

Cupido kicked 66 goals in 53 AFL games after being selected by Brisbane with the sixth pick overall in the 1999 National Draft.

He was delisted by Essendon at the end of 2005.
