Collingwood forward Trent Bianco has booted five goals in his side’s VFL win over Essendon.

Bianco led the way in a dominant second half that saw the Pies run out comfortably victors.

Sam Fowler booted four for the Magpies, while Tyler Brown and Finlay Macrae led the way from a disposal standpoint.

Ollie Henry was lively, kicking two goals and Harvey Harrison also impressed across the afternoon.

For the Bombers, Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti kicked two as he continues to build his fitness at VFL level.

Brayden Ham and Devon Smith were prolific, while Tom Hird also found plenty of the ball and kicked 2.3.

Alex Hird also made his debut for Essendon, kicking a goal. Brother of Tom and the second son of club great James Hird, the 18-year-old is a 178cm forward-midfielder.

Zach Reid also showed some form as he pushes for senior selection.

Collingwood is now 4-1 on the VFL season, while the Bombers remain winless.
