King and Whateley’s top 4 seeds after Round 6, 2022

2022-04-26T14:31+10:00

David King and Gerard Whateley have named their top four seeds after Round 6 of the 2022 AFL season.

King and Whateley have ranked the four teams they have the most confidence in, coupled with what they have shown so far.

The seedings will be updated on a weekly basis on SEN’s Whateley throughout the year.

See their seedings below:

KING:

1. Melbourne

2. Brisbane

“They’re just stacking wins.

“The one thing is they’re so healthy. They have to bank them.”

3. Fremantle

“I’ve had a real shake up this week.

“I’m a big believer in everything that you do without the football is a complete buy in, if you’ve got your players putting on pressure and winning the ball back.

“They’re the best in the comp without the footy, they’re in at three.”

4. St Kilda

“I’m welcoming the Saints to the party.

“If you’re going to play with the adventure they do - third best team in the comp with the football and second best without it. You can’t do much better than that.

“Their evidence is right in front of us, so it would be disrespectful not to put them in.”

WHATELEY:

1. Melbourne

“Melbourne’s at one.”

2. St Kilda

“I was an early adopter of St Kilda. I’m shuffling them up.

“I think five in a row outside of Melbourne is going to be so hard to do this year.”

3. Brisbane

“I’m going three Brisbane Lions.”

4. Sydney

“The Swans were going to be nowhere near it until they reeled off nine goals to one in a mesmerising burst in the end.

“They’ve won their way back into fourth for me.”
