Fremantle loses three more players due to COVID protocols

2022-05-04T12:21+10:00

Fremantle coach Justin Longmuir has confirmed a further three players will miss this weekend's clash against North Melbourne after entering Health and Safety protocols.

Giffin Logue, Michael Fredrick and Lloyd Meek are all out of the game, joining Travis Colyer, Blake Acres and Rory Lobb on the sidelines this week.

The Dockers have been dealing with a COVID outbreak in recent weeks, tightening protocols and opting to train in small groups to limit any further spread of the virus.

In better news, Longmuir confirmed Heath Chapman, Sean Darcy, Bailey Banfield and Hayden Young will all return to the line-up for their prime time showdown against the Roos.

Last year’s pick eight Jye Amiss will also make his debut this weekend as the Dockers shuffle their side amid six COVID-related absences.

Fremantle will be looking to win their seventh game of the season when they take on the 17th-placed Roos.
