Boomers centre Jock Landale has been traded from the San Antonio Spurs to the Atlanta Hawks.
The Hawks acquired Landale and All-Star guard Dejounte Murray in exchange for Danilo Gallinari, a conditional 2023 first-round pick (from Charlotte via New York), Atlanta’s 2025 and 2027 first-round picks and a 2026 first-round pick swap.
Landale joined the Spurs on a two-year deal last August after starring for Melbourne United in a championship-winning season.
The 25-year-old averaged 4.9 points and 2.6 rebounds in 10.9 minutes across 54 appearances for San Antonio last season.

Boomers veteran Joe Ingles is also on the move.
Ingles, who is recovering from an ACL injury, has reportedly reached an agreement to join the Milwaukee Bucks on a $6.5 million one-year deal.
The 34-year-old forward was traded to the Portland Trailblazers from the Utah Jazz in February.

In an NBA bombshell, All-Star forward Kevin Durant has requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets.
According to ESPN, the Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat are two potential landing spots for the two-time NBA champion.
Durant signed a four-year, $198 million contract extension with the Nets last August.
