Boomers centre Jock Landale has been traded from the San Antonio Spurs to the Atlanta Hawks.

The Hawks acquired Landale and All-Star guard Dejounte Murray in exchange for Danilo Gallinari, a conditional 2023 first-round pick (from Charlotte via New York), Atlanta’s 2025 and 2027 first-round picks and a 2026 first-round pick swap.

Landale joined the Spurs on a two-year deal last August after starring for Melbourne United in a championship-winning season.

The 25-year-old averaged 4.9 points and 2.6 rebounds in 10.9 minutes across 54 appearances for San Antonio last season.

Boomers veteran Joe Ingles is also on the move.

The 34-year-old forward was traded to the Portland Trailblazers from the Utah Jazz in February.

Boomers star Patty Mills has reportedly agreed to return to the Brooklyn Nets.

Mills’ agent Steven Heumann has told ESPN that Mills has signed a two-year deal worth $14.5 million with the Nets.

In an NBA bombshell, All-Star forward Kevin Durant has requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets.

According to ESPN, the Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat are two potential landing spots for the two-time NBA champion.

Durant signed a four-year, $198 million contract extension with the Nets last August.
