Kade Chandler booted five goals for Melbourne's reserves in a best-on-ground performance against Port Melbourne on Saturday afternoon.
The small forward has played three senior matches in 2022 and is still searching for the form that makes him a walk-up start to Simon Goodwin’s side.

However, he showed good signs in the 58-point win, kicking five goals among 27 disposals and five inside 50s.

Oskar Baker (23 disposals), Luke Dunstan (23 disposals, eight clearances) and Trent Rivers (19 touches, six marks) were also all among the best
Earlier on, in a reversal to the AFL result, Sydney smashed Essendon by 59 points in the VFL.
While the Bombers pulled off a gritty nine-point upset, the same couldn’t be said for their reserves, who could manage just five goals at Windy Hill.
Nick Bryan was among the best AFL-listed Bombers on the field with just 13 disposals to his name.
On the flip side, several Swans dominated. Harry Cunningham had 38 disposals and five inside 50s off half-back, while Lewis Taylor, James Bell and Sam Wicks combined for 95 disposals and 11 clearances.
Ruckman Peter Ladhams was also among the best on the ground with nine clearances.
Lovely finish from Ladhams 🔥

Meanwhile, on an otherwise dirty day for the Roos as they got done by 48 points at the hands of Werribee, Callum Coleman-Jones showed signs of getting back to his best.
The former Tiger has endured injury troubles throughout 2022 and hasn’t showcased the form to demand a spot in the Roos’ senior side over either Todd Goldstein or Tristan Xerri, but he put his best foot forward on Saturday.
He finished with 24 disposals, 38 hitouts and eight clearances, while 2021 draftee Josh Goater was the next best for North with 19 disposals.
