Essendon has inquired about Melbourne small forward Toby Bedford, reports Channel 7’s Mitch Cleary.
The Demons livewire has made 15 appearances this season, seven of those as an unused sub.
Bedford was omitted for Melbourne’s Round 19 match against the Western Bulldogs on Saturday night.
The 22-year-old played just two senior games in his first three seasons at the Demons and comes out of contract at the end of this year.
