Carlton has re-signed Category B rookie Dom Akuei for a further season.
The versatile utility was a mainstay in the VFL in his first year at IKON Park, playing a variety of roles.
The 20-year-old joins Matt Cottrell, Lochie O’Brien, Caleb Marchbank, David Cuningham, Jordan Boyd, Josh Honey and Sam Durdin in recently recommitting to the club.
Carlton delisted pair Will Hayes and Liam Stocker, and previously moved on from Jack Newnes, Luke Parks, Oscar McDonald and Tom Williamson.
Ed Curnow looks set to re-sign for a further season, while question marks remain over the future of Will Setterfield and Lachie Fogarty.
Setterfield has reportedly been told to explore his options in the trade period.
Carlton has also expressed an interest in bringing back Irish defender Ciaran Byrne, who departed the club in 2018.
