Adelaide won’t try to lure Collingwood wingman Caleb Poulter home to South Australia this off-season according to SEN’s Kym Dillon.
Recent reports from 7News Adelaide suggested that Poulter was a player of interest for the Crows, but Dillon says a line has been put through that by the club.
Speaking to Michelangelo Rucci and Matt Rendell on SEN SA The Run Home, Dillon says there’s a “zero per cent” chance the Woodville-West Torrens product ends up at West Lakes this trade period.
Dillon: “Have you heard about Caleb Poulter going anywhere?”
Rendell: “We thought there might be something going on with Adelaide and Collingwood, yes.”
Dillon: “Put a line through that.”
Rucci: “Wow.”
Rendell: “No? Okay.”
Rucci: “Zero per cent? Where’s he going? He doesn’t have a deal at Collingwood.”
Dillon: “Zero per cent. I’ll apologise if I’m wrong, but Adelaide aren’t interested in Poulter.”
The 19-year-old has played 12 games for Collingwood since being taken with pick no. 30 in the 2020 National Draft.
He’s yet to be offered a contract for the 2023 season.
