UPDATE

Collingwood has confirmed that Jordan De Goey has re-signed with the club.

According to a club statement, the 26-year-old has penned a five-year deal to remain a Magpie until the end of the 2027 season.

Collingwood general manager of football Graham Wright was “delighted” that the unrestricted free agent recommitted to the club.

“We’re delighted Jordan has agreed to extend his contract to stay at Collingwood,” Wright said via a statement.

“Jordan is a talented footballer and his commitment to improve his game has seen him perform strongly this year, particularly during the back-end of the season and during the finals series where he was exciting to watch.

“We feel Jordan’s best football is in front of him and, as a Club, we will continue to support him as he grows as a player and as a person.”

Collingwood midfielder Jordan De Goey will remain a Magpie, according to The Age’s Pete Ryan.

According to the report, De Goey has inked a five-year deal at the club with the first two seasons containing behavioural clauses.

De Goey was said to be weighing up whether to sign with St Kilda or Essendon as a free agent but will now remain at the AIA Centre until the end of the 2027 season if he sees the deal out.

The match-winner has long expressed a desire to remain a Magpie, and will now add to his 137 games at the club.
