Logue and Tucker land at Arden Street as Dockers and Kangaroos agree trade

2022-10-05T11:38+11:00

Fremantle pair Griffin Logue and Darcy Tucker will be North Melbourne players in 2023.

The league confirmed the Kangaroos acquired the duo along with a future third-round pick for a future second, third and fourth round selection.

The future second and third round picks received by Fremantle were given to North Melbourne as part of the AFL’s assistance package.

Logue, 24, was out of contract at Fremantle and recently requested a trade to Arden Street.

The former top-10 pick has reportedly been promised a position in key defence after being shifted around the ground during his 64 games for Fremantle across the last five seasons.

While Tucker was contracted for one more season, the Dockers allowed the 108-gamer to go in search of increased opportunities with North Melbourne.

Tucker has reportedly been offered a three-year deal with the Roos.

The pair follow wingman Blake Acres out of Fremantle, who joined Carlton on Tuesday.
