Cats and Giants come to terms on Bruhn trade

2022-10-07T11:20+11:00

GWS have traded Tanner Bruhn to Geelong.

It can be revealed the Giants and Cats reached an agreement this morning that sees Bruhn head to Geelong in exchange for pick 18.

The Cats, who have won the race for the Jack Bowes-pick 7 package, subject to a trade with the Suns, will now welcome 2020 No.12 pick Bruhn to the club.

Geelong is also working to satisfy Collingwood in a deal for another 2020 first round draft pick, Ollie Henry.

But the Cats have so far only offered pick 38 for Henry, which has been immediately rejected by the Pies.

The Bruhn deal now means the Giants are armed with a staggering first round draft haul that includes selections 3, 12, 15 and 18, while also gaining pick 21 from Brisbane Lions.
