Mega trade official: Four clubs involved as Horne-Francis and Rioli land at Power, Giants snare pick 1
One of the biggest and most complex deals in AFL history is official.
Port Adelaide and Greater Western Sydney have secured what both clubs were after, while North Melbourne and GWS have received plenty going back the other way.
The Power land both of their recruits in Jason Horne-Francis and Junior Rioli while GWS takes the Roos’ pick 1 of the 2022 National Draft.
It’s believed that the Giants have traded up to secure prospect Aaron Cadman at the top of the draft.
In return, the Roos have landed with picks two and three, as well as a future first round pick. Meanwhile, West Coast receives picks 8 and 12.
The trade also sees numerous 2022 third round picks and future second and third round picks exchanged between the four clubs.
