The 2022 AFL Trade Period is now done and dusted.
Matt Rendell has looked at the ins and outs at each of the 18 clubs and provided a grade for their trade period activity.

PORT ADELAIDE
Rendell says: Jason Horne-Francis and Junior Rioli in, they lose pick 8 and some futures, and also get some back.
To get the first pick from the draft of last year into your club is a great effort.
He did a good job again, Jason Cripps. He does a good job every year. They fixed a couple of holes. They needed the big-bodied mid who can go forward, that’s Horne-Francis, and they needed another small forward (Rioli).
They missed Esava Ratugolea, and they don’t want an injury to Aliir Aliir otherwise they’re in dire straits (in defence).
