Former Western Bulldogs forward Fergus Greene is set to join Hawthorn as a delisted free agent, reports AFL Media’s Cal Twomey.
Greene, now 24, was delisted by the Bulldogs at the end of the 2020 season and most recently played VFL for Hawthorn affiliate Box Hill.
The medium forward has kicked 78 goals for Box Hill from his 25 games for the club, including 49 in 2022.
Across that VFL stint, Greene also averaged 11.64 disposals and 4.96 marks per game.
Greene played just five senior games for the Bulldogs with all of those appearances coming in the 2018 season where he averaged a goal a game.
He originally joined the Bulldogs with pick No.70 in the 2016 National Draft.
Former Western Bulldogs forward Fergus Greene is set to reignite his career at Hawthorn as a delisted free agent. Greene was delisted by the Dogs at the end of 2020 but kicked 53 goals in the VFL for the Box Hill Hawks this year. @AFLcomau
