England were crowned T20 World Cup champions after defeating Pakistan by 5 wickets on Sunday night at the MCG.
With almost a month of cricket behind us, the world’s best put on a show across Australia with several big names having strong tournaments.
Following the Final, the ICC released their Team of the Tournament, with the team dominated by England, India and Pakistan players.
The most surprising omission was that of England’s Sam Curran, who was named both Player of the Match in the Final and Player of the Tournament but failed to make the ICC’s XI.
