Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews says AAMI Park will be opened for Socceroos fans to enjoy Sunday morning’s (AEDT) game against Argentina.
Vision has been shared across the globe of Australian fans packing out Fed Square in Melbourne’s CBD, with Thursday’s win over Denmark generating particularly rowdy scenes.

I reckon we might need a bit more space than just Fed Square to watch the @Socceroos take on Argentina.

So we're going to open up AAMI Park and put the game on the big screens.
And it'll be completely free. pic.twitter.com/SSflcdQy60
Thousands of fans have packed out Fed Square, but supporters will now have the option of Melbourne’s premier soccer stadium to watch the game.

Fans can watch the game from the stands and gates will open at 5:00am. AAMI Park has a capacity of around 30,000.
The Socceroos game begins at 6:00am against Lionel Messi’s side. Graham Arnold’s squad becomes just the second Socceroos team to make it out of the group stage but goes into the clash as significant underdogs.
