Andy Gowers has been elected as Hawthorn’s new president at the club’s AGM on Tuesday.
The 1991 premiership player was voted in by members at the 2022 Presidential and Directors election, stepping into the role vacated by Jeff Kennett.
Gowers, a succession adviser in wealth management, had previously spent four years at the Hawks as football director from late 2013.
Joining Gowers on the club’s Board is Katie Hudson, James Merlino and Anne-Marie Pellizzer who have been elected by the members to fill the remaining director vacancies.
