2023-04-26T13:17+10:00

Coleman Medallist Scott Cummings has power ranked his top 10 players in the AFL after Round 6.

Based on current form from their campaign so far, Cummings will release his rankings weekly on SEN WA Breakfast.

The former key forward discussed his top 10 and how the players are performing with co-host Tim Gossage.

1 – Jeremy Cameron (Geelong)
Previously number 1

Cummings: “Jeremy Cameron is still the most influential and best player in the competition.

“But it is tight between he and Daicos for number one, but I’m staying firm on that for now.”

2 – Nick Daicos (Collingwood)
Previously number 2

Cummings: “Here we go, Nick Daicos stays at number two.

“That carry-on after that love-tap annoyed me (laughs).”

3 – Clayton Oliver (Melbourne)
Previously number 3

Cummings: “Clayton Oliver stays at number three.”

4 – Charlie Curnow (Carlton)
Previously number 4

Cummings: “Charlie Curnow stays at number four.”

5 – Jordan De Goey (Collingwood)
Previously number 7

Cummings: “Jordan De Goey has gone from seven to fifth.

“Jordan De Goey, he is impact, he was sensational on Anzac Day.”

6 – Christian Petracca (Melbourne)
Previously number 5

Cummings: “Christian Petracca has slid to sixth.”

7 – Toby Greene (GWS)
Previously number 6

Cummings: “Toby Greene is in seventh, I don’t think he’s been out of their best players once this year.

“GWS are not winning enough games, so he might slide a smidge.”

8 – Marcus Bontempelli (Western Bulldogs)
Previously number 8

Cummings: “The Bont has risen from 10 to eight.

“Two weeks ago he was out, I was annoyed at myself because I still think he’s going to be top 10 come the end of the year.

“He was sensational on Friday night and for a couple of weeks now he’s been exceptional.”

9 – Jordan Dawson (Adelaide)
Previously number 9

Cummings: “Jordan Dawson remains at number nine.”

10 – Darcy Parish (Essendon)
Previously number 8

Cummings: “I’ve shuffled him down, Darcy Parish has gone from eight to 10.”

“It’s solid, people may be confused by that, but he was in Essendon’s best on Anzac Day.”
