Brad Johnson’s rolling All-Australian team after Round 8

2023-05-11T06:45+10:00

Western Bulldogs great and SEN’s Sportsday regular Brad Johnson will be selecting a rolling All-Australian team throughout the 2023 AFL season.

Johnson, a six-time All-Australian, will update the side after each round on a weekly basis.

After making three changes after Round 7, Johnson made two changes after Round 8.

With Ed Richards coming into the side as the substitute, Johnson says he could be coming for Adam Saad’s spot in the starting 22.

“My backline hasn’t changed for some time,” Johnson told SEN’s Sportsday.

“I’m considering (dropping) Saad, and my sub (Ed Richards) may come in.

“It may come down to who plays better this weekend. I think Ed Richards would be top two in their best and fairest.

“It’s Saad v Richards, who has the bigger impact when the Blues and Dogs meet could be in the starting team next week.”
