Nick Daicos can breathe easy after only copping a fine from the Match Review Officer.
The 20-year-old superstar struck Blake Acres with a jumper punch in Collingwood’s win over Carlton on Sunday afternoon and there were fears he could be suspended.
A suspension would have ruled him out of the Brownlow Medal race.

But MRO Michael Christian elected to deem the strike low impact, alongside the intentional conduct grading.
He’s been offered a $3000 fine, $2000 with an early guilty plea.
Meanwhile, Jack Steele had MRO action taken against him from Sunday's game, with the Saints skipper also offered a fine for a rough conduct charge on Lachie Ash from the Giants.
