Nathan Buckley is spending time in the Fremantle coaches box on Saturday with an interest of how the club operates on game day.
Buckley and Dockers coach Justin Longmuir spent time together at Collingwood for two years, taking the Magpies to a Grand Final in that stretch.
The Collingwood great was captured on the Fox Footy broadcast pre-game, prompting Fremantle to confirm his presence.

Buckley hasn’t coached since stepping down from the Magpies midway through the 2021 season and has previously indicated he’s unlikely to coach again.
But at least one and as many as four or five clubs could be in the market for new coaches come the close of the 2023 season, with Buckley’s name floated as a potential candidate.
Buckley coached Collingwood on 218 occasions for 117 wins.
