Should he accept his ban, he’ll be a huge out for Hawthorn when they fly to Adelaide to face Port Adelaide on Saturday.
The timing of the ban comes at an inopportune time for Sicily who comes off one of the best games of his career against the Saints as he collected 43 disposals and took 16 marks in the 10-point win.
The other player to be sanctioned was Fremantle’s Jaeger O’Meara who receives a one-match ban for a dangerous tackle on Melbourne’s Charlie Spargo.
Spargo’s head was sent into the turf by O’Meara in the third term of Saturday’s win at the MCG as his arms were pinned in the tackle.
The MRO graded the incident as rough conduct, careless conduct, medium impact and high contact.
Jaeger O'Meara has been handed a one-match suspension for rough conduct.

With the Dockers set for the bye in Round 12, he’ll miss Fremantle’s Round 13 matchup against Richmond should he accept the ban.
