Carlton’s task of defeating Melbourne in Round 12 has been made significantly harder following the release of the club’s injury report on Tuesday.
Ollie Hollands, Nic Newman, George Hewett and Patrick Cripps all finished the loss to Sydney on the bench with a raft of injuries.
But the Blues confirmed that Marc Pittonet and Corey Durdin have now joined that list.
Surgery will see Ollie Hollands and Corey Durdin sidelined for the medium term, while Marc Pittonet will also miss this weekend.

Here's the latest injury news leading into Round 12.
Hollands (collarbone) and Durdin (knee) are the hardest hit after undergoing surgery on Tuesday and could miss up to two months each.
Pittonet will miss a fortnight with a fractured hand, while Newman won’t return until after the Blues’ Round 15 bye.
Hewett will miss this weekend with concussion, but in better news Cripps is expected to overcome an ankle injury.
After having an almost fully fit team in Round 11, it’s a major blow for Michael Voss in trying to lessen the weight of rising expectation on his shoulders as Carlton suffers through a form slump.
But he’s got at least one senior player on side, with Jacob Weitering telling the club’s president Luke Sayers in the aftermath of the Round 11 that the players were to blame, not Voss.
Melbourne hosts Carlton at the MCG on Friday night, with the opening bounce at 7:50pm.
