The 2023 mid-season rookie draft has concluded, with several state league players finding homes at AFL clubs.

Box Hill and Gippsland Power forward Ryan Maric was taken by West Coast with pick one, while names like Caleb Poulter and Quinton Narkle returned to the AFL after previously being delisted.
