Collingwood midfielder Jordan De Goey has been sent straight to the Tribunal for his high-hit on West Coast’s Elijah Hewett.
The incident occurred in the first quarter of the Magpies’ win over the Eagles at Optus Stadium on Saturday, with De Goey bumping the teenager high once he disposed of the footy.

With Hewett subbed out with concussion as a result of the incident, MRO Michael Christian graded the act as rough conduct that was careless, high contact and severe impact and the Magpie could face a ban of three or more weeks.
In other assessed incidents Liam Duggan has been hit with a one-match ban for a dangerous tackle on Taylor Adams from the same game.
Duggan's tackle was graded as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact.
