Dan Butler has had his rough conduct charge dismissed by the AFL Tribunal in a verdict that will ease the minds' of players and fans alike.
St Kilda and Butler had taken the small forward's dangerous tackle to the tribunal in the hopes of getting off a one-week ban.

The tackle on Sydney's Nick Blakey was graded careless conduct, medium impact and high contact, although the Swans' medical report suggests Blakey wasn't concussed by the incident.
Butler insisted he didn't have any other option but to tackle Blakey and that his tackle was insufficient force.
It was a view the AFL opposed, but one the tribunal ultimately sided in favour of.
The 27-year-old hasn't missed a game this year and is now free to take on his former club in Richmond on Saturday night.
