The 2023 Free Kick Ladder - Round 15

All 18 AFL clubs have now played the same amount of games on the back of the four-weekend bye block.

After 15 rounds and 14 games each, the new Free Kick Ladder has dropped.

Umpiring has been a real point of focus in recent weeks with some significant calls and non-calls impacting matches.

But as long as there is human error, that is always going to be the case.

There is no rule saying the free kick count must be even, but fans will always be interested to see how their team fares on the officiating front.

Without further ado, we’ve broken it down into six different categories for you to take a closer look at - Best differentials, Worst differentials, Most frees for, Least frees for, Most frees against and Least frees against.

Best differentials

1 - Brisbane (+48)
2 - St Kilda (+42)
3 - Fremantle (+37)
4 - Carlton (+26)
5 - Collingwood (+26)

Worst differentials

1 - North Melbourne (-40)
2 - Richmond (-35)
3 - Port Adelaide (-33)

Most frees for

The Round 15 Free Kick Ladder

As they were after Round 8, the Brisbane Lions are at the top of the Free Kick Ladder with their +48 differential.

They hold an advantage over St Kilda in second, with Fremantle, Carlton and Collingwood rounding out the top five.

At the other end of the standings is North Melbourne on -40, ahead of Richmond, Port Adelaide, Adelaide and Hawthorn.

There are five other clubs on minus differentials - Geelong, Gold Coast, Sydney, GWS and West Coast.

Three remaining clubs are on positive differentials - Western Bulldogs, Essendon and Melbourne.
