GWS defender Nick Haynes can accept a one-match ban for a dangerous tackle on Hawthorn’s Josh Ward.
The incident occurred in the third quarter with Ward’s head hitting the turf once his arms were pinned by Haynes in a tackle.
The MRO graded the incident as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact.

He’ll miss the Giants’ Round 18 clash against Adelaide if he accepts the ban.
In other assessed incidents, Port Adelaide forward Sam Powell-Pepper (forceful front-on contact), Gold Coast’s Charlie Ballard (tripping) and Melbourne’s James Jordan (careless conduct with an umpire) have all been offered fines from Saturday’s Round 17 action.
