David King and Gerard Whateley have named their top four seeds following Round 20 of the 2023 AFL season.
King and Whateley will each rank four teams they have the most confidence in going forward on a weekly basis throughout the year.
The seedings will be updated as the season goes on via SEN’s Whateley.
See their seedings below:
KING
1. Collingwood
“Come on Craig, get them back on track.”
2. Melbourne
“They’re unlucky not to be number one.”
3. Brisbane
“Brisbane are three for me, I’m not dropping right off.
“They were schooled in the coaches box.
“Maybe the loss of Will Ashcroft is bigger than we think.”
4. GWS
“Four are GWS, I’m looking forward to when GWS play Carlton in the last game of the year for all of the chocolates.
“No team wants to play the Giants at the moment.
“You can’t score against them and they’ve got the 182cm wildcard (Toby Greene) in the forward half.”
WHATELEY
1. Collingwood
“One is Collingwood.
“That’s the loss you can use to great effect.”
2. Melbourne
“Two are Melbourne, they’ve sorted out some issues.
“Kudos to them.”
3. GWS
“Three are the Giants.
“They’ve won seven in a row, Toby Greene and Sam Taylor (are starring).
“Right now, they are in the best four teams with the footy they’re playing.”
4. Carlton
“Port Adelaide and Brisbane are both out.
“Four is Carlton, they’ve won six in a row.
“They’re playing the footy we imagined they would but it’s more sustainable than ever before.”
