SEN Survivor winner takes home a new car after round of upsets

2023-07-31T10:00+10:00

We have a winner!

8,400 tipsters started at Round 1 in a game where you only have to pick a single team to win each week. If they lose, you are eliminated. Win or draw, you survive.

At the start of Round 20 there will still 426 remaining. Then the huge upsets rolled in. The Blues beat the Pies on Friday, and the Dockers took the Cats in Geelong and Gold Coast caused a boilover to beat Brisbane. This meant that going into Sunday there was only one person whose tip was still to play. That tipster was Trevor Kelly, and his tip was the Demons.

It's fair to say that Trevor, the sole SEN Survivor, owes Harrison Petty a beer. The Melbourne defender went forward and kicked 6 straight for the Dees as they beat the Tigers by 32 points.

Now for Trevor, who emailed us from his holiday overseas, a brand new car awaits thanks to our friends from the Berwick Motor Group.

"I am in utter shock at the moment!!! It just hasn't sunk in. There were so many upsets this round, I was too nervous to watch or listen to the scores of my Sunday match against the tigers. I am still shaking!"

Awesome work, Trev!

Where the Survivors tipped and fell in Round 20:
GEEL: 310
BRI: 86
COLL: 25
PORT: 4

The AFL Second Chance Survivor that was launched in Round 13 also saw a mass wipeout over the weekend, with that particular game coming down to 61 people remaining.

Stay tuned to SENsurvivor.com.au for more games coming soon.
