Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) is delighted to announce the appointment of experienced administrator Shae Bolton-Brown as General Manager of Netball Operations for the new Suncorp Super Netball franchise.

Bolton-Brown brings an impressive blend of netball credentials and start-up-related business experience. This includes 13 years as a professional athlete with the Collingwood Magpies, West Coast Fever, and Melbourne Kestrels before serving as CEO of Mental Health advocacy Puka Up and Chief of Staff for Pan Group Australia.

The role will be critical to the ongoing success of the new team, with overall responsibilities including fan development, overseeing the high performance program, customer engagement, and club governance.

Bolton-Brown will also play a key role alongside Head Coach Tracey Neville and newly appointed Head of High Performance Chris Howley in building the squad of players for the team’s inaugural season.

SEN CEO of Teams, Richard Simkiss, said: “We believe Shae’s experience both on and off the court is perfectly suited for this role, which is undoubtedly critical in the overall development and ongoing success of the team.

She brings tremendous netball knowledge and is hugely respected throughout the industry. Her business experience, particularly in start-up environments, will be critically important, and we look forward to working closely with her as we continue on this exciting journey.”

Bolton-Brown said: “I couldn’t be more excited for this opportunity to give back to netball and women’s sport. Having worked in the start-up world during and after my playing career, this is a fantastic fit. I look forward to working with Tracey and the SEN team to bring our vision to life.”
